My Story
Sumit Rɒv, a nonfiction writer based in Bangalore (India) is an enterprising and agile leader with over 30 years of Aerospace – Turbomachinery industry experience in a multicultural environment; with a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA from Christ University.
Sumit is a reflective thinker who bridges the gap between engineering-driven logic and human experience through his craft.
He is a simplistic storyteller with a humanized writing style, aiming for engagement and emotional resonance. Join him on a quiet walk, through his memories that promise to shift your perspective on modern existence.
When he is not writing, he’s honing his skills as song-writer, poetic scribbler (!) and on occasions, a singer. He is moderately adventurous with his skydiving and trekking expeditions, too.
Personal Life
Sumit loves the Lord and is passionate about serving God’s people and the local community. Sumit is married to Vandana, a prudent homemaker and together they raise up two children, Ruchi and Aadi. As a family, they enjoy hiking, trekking and laughing together. Sumit, while he enjoys a read on various subjects and moderate adventure on occasions, he is passionate about experimenting with his song writing and composing skills.
He is also found sometimes victimising his family and friends reciting his depressive poems! Well, most of his victims have survived so far!
While he loves travelling around the world, Sumit resides in Bangalore, India with his family.
